The arrival forecourt design reinforces a mystique and a sense of privacy with an interpretation and the unveiling of the club’s predominant landscape features. An arcing, dry-laid stone wall anchors the landscape composition. Its low, sweeping form subtly integrates the grade change and is entirely revealed at both ends marking entry thresholds. Plantings, consisting of flowering trees and shrubs and sweeping masses of perennials and ornamental grasses, envelop the driveway and prolong an arrival sequence of continuous and ever-changing seasonal interest.
